And now, my Sailor Moon Series, Volume 1!
I wanted to do a series like this for the longest time! And this didn’t come easy… many of these, thanks to scheduling conflicts and overall complications, were done last-minute… :x
Also, fun fact: I only had one Sailor Neptune costume, fitted for me… and I’m not dainty. This costume was clipped to fit each model, then re-colored meticulously in Photoshop. FUN!
Also, I’m sure I’ll get some flack from hardcore fans about some of the left-side portraits… thanks to time and location constraints, creative liberties had to be taken. I tried to preserve the character as best as I could.

Stacey had brought in a glamorous black dress, so we had a little fun with it. ^_^

This is my “Panem” series, a large-scale themed portrait project for school. I’m really happy with how they’re turning out so far! ^_^
I’ll be adding the rest to the set as I go, so save this post and check it often!

Part of a series of self-portraits, showing how one light can be used to create five completely different images.
Top to bottom, left to right: Standard loop light with softbox, clamshell lighting with softbox and reflector, Softbox close to subject, softbox in profile light, softbox as background with silver reflector positioned about an inch from model’s face.

Photographed a single satin heel, re-colored it five times using a provided color palette, then made it into a (fake) Betsey Johnson ad!
No, the shoes aren’t Betsey designs… and no, I don’t work for Betsey in any way, though I wish I could!
Betsey Johnson Logo is © Betsey Johnson, all rights reserved and all that stuff.

[note: Don’t know why I didn’t realize this before, but boyfriend noted that, with all the information on this mock-ad, people may think it’s an actual ad… I’m sure Betsey fans would know the difference, but I modified it, just in case.]

I submitted this one for a mock-print competition at school today… the basic premise of it was that the following class would judge our prints, while we judged the class that preceded ours. This print got 2nd place!
Ever dream of being one of senshi for a day? Are you good in front of a camera?
If this sounds like you, then you’re the audience I’m hoping to reach! I’m looking to do a photo series based on the senshi! It’d be two side-by-side images, one of the girl and a depiction who she is (Makoto, for example, would be in the kitchen cooking something awesome!), the other would be a badass shot of her in senshi form!
I’m still trying to figure out how to piece together the senshi outfits… having one already or being able to help pay for the materials needed would be a plus! I’ll give you prints as well, obviously. ;)
If you’re interested, drop a message in my ask with your name and who you’d like to portray. A link to a picture of your face would be exceptionally helpful, as well! <3
